Package deals sold out

We just want you to know that package deals are sold out! This means that (including some of the bands) over 200 ProgPower people will stay at Castle de Berckt. We try to get a few more rooms, but for now the package deals are sold out. This means that people who want to visit ProgPower Europe 2010 for the entire weekend have to find some other accommodation. Luckily there are many more possibilities to stay around Baarlo, if you need any assistence finding a good accommodation don’t hesitate to contact us.

In other news, advance sales of day tickets will start Thursday September 2. So be sure to order your weekend tickets in time, there is a huge interest in day tickets, especially for Saturday October 2.

If we were able to book a few more rooms at Castle de Berckt we will let you know.

Updated time schedule

We just got a message from JOP, if they could get at least 90 minutes to play. We checked the time schedule and made a litle mistake, JOP was planned for a 60 minute show, but of course that was not right. So we have updated the time schedule, JOP will of course play at least 90 minutes, but I guess it will be a bit longer.

Without any sponsoring, ProgPower Europe would not be possible anymore these days. For this year we find a few companies in the music business who help us out financially a little bit. We have updated the sponsoring information, later this week we also will add another company, who will be our main sponsor for this year.

Time schedule published

After completing the line-up for this year’s ProgPower Europe festival, we now have published the time schedule. Compared to other years a few changes have been made.

First of all before the diner break, 4 bands will play. On Saturday we also have a longer break between MYRATH and SHADOW GALLERY, simply because we need 1 hour time to prepare SHADOW GALLERY’s performance. One other thing, on Saturday and Sunday the festival will be finished a bit earlier. In this way it will be easier to travel back to Venlo and Roermond by bus, we know that several people stay in Venlo and some in Roermond.

KLONE confirmed!

The final announcement for this year’s edition of ProgPower Europe is the French band KLONE. The music of this band is hard to describe, but it should please fans from bands such as Devin Townsend, Meshuggah, Isis and Tool. One of the heavier bands at this year’s ProgPower Europe, but definitely a band to check out. Do you remember the incredible performance of Hacride last year, also a French band? Will KLONE be the next susprise? Don’t miss them, the band will open the festival on Friday 1 October with a 1 hour performance.

HAKEN confirmed!

From the UK we present you another very talented band, HAKEN. This London based band will open ProgPower on Saturdsay 2 October. The band just released their debut album “Aquarius” through Sensory record label. The reactions in the UK are extremely positive, but also the first reactions outside their homecountry are very positive. The band offers you a mix of progressive rock and metal, in a very original way. Check the out, you won’t be disappointed.

LOVE DE VICE confirmed

On Sunday 3 October, ProgPower Europe will be opened by LOVE DE VICE from Poland. The band plays some progressive rock/metal and will release their second album just before ProgPower. Like last year we have choosen for a more ‘quiet’ opener on Sunday. Check out this probably unknown band, with a new album to come (and the new songs we have heard sound really good!) they definitely will please many of you.
