OCEANS OF SADNESS returns!
Belgian band OCEANS OF SADNESS will enter the stage at ProgPower Europe once again. After their splendid performance in 2007, the band will come back this year, most likely on Saturday 2 October. For those of you who have not seen them before, you better not miss them. They got some excellent reviews after their performance at ProgPower Europe 2007, for example from Metal Discovery website:
Taking to the stage just after 3pm, Oceans of Sadness aurally grab the ProgPower audience from the offset and bombard their senses for an hour with an infusion of original prog-metal and an equally impressive performance to match. With influences ranging from Faith No More to Pain of Salvation, and even elements of Nevermore’s dark prog-thrash, Oceans of Sadness also have an original sound which is uniquely their own, and genuinely progressive. Organised or not, Oceans of Sadness are a mightily impressive live band. Overwhelmingly stunning, and highly recommended.
Because it is the band’s 15th anniversary we thought it good to invite them back. And because the gig at ProgPower in 2007 is one of the band’s favourite, we can expect another excellent performance this year. We look forward to this, hopefully you all do.
