Baarlo is a small village in the south of The Netherlands, close to the German border. The nearest bigger city is Venlo, about 10km from Baarlo. With several castles, Baarlo is also called the Castle Village. During daytime Baarlo is a very quiet village, but Baarlo celebrates several annual festivals. For example the Volksfeesten (National feast), or the annual Paaspop (Easterpop) festival at Sjiwa. And of course ProgPower has become a well-known event in Baarlo.
