This is a message from the band: We regret to inform you that the band has seperated, due to health issues. Sorry for any inconvenience it has caused.

Within a few weeks we will launch a newly designed website and include some more announcements. The line-up is not complete yet, but we are working on a very interesting collection of bands to play this year’s edition of ProgPower Europe. So be patient a few more weeks.

Your mails, facebook and forum posts, with tears in my eyes I read some of the messages. Me, my wife, Martijn and Christian, our technical crew and all volunteers of Sjiwa, it really means a lot to us to read all this. This helps a lot and it gave us already the power to not give up ProgPower Europe. Next year, 5, 6 & 7 October we dedicate the whole festival to Mikko Laine and we will try to make the event even better.

The next few weeks we will concentrate on 29 October, preperations for ProgPower Europe 2012 will start in November. The first 4 bands were announced in the festival flyer: VANDENPLAS (germany), NIGHTINGALE (sweden), THE LEVITATION HEX (australia), FRACTURE (australia). Bands that would like to play next year, feel free to send a full promo package to:
